4T, 5.3 m Four Post Vehicle Lift – Shallow Recess
The B443-530 combines the benefits of our new narrower 4 post lift design – overall width of just 2.79m and a shallow recess requirement of only 130mm – with a longer platform length of 5.3m.
This makes it ideal for ‘Grandfather Rights’ MOT stations and garages operating in small railway arches where the width of the premises is restricted but there is sufficient space for a longer platform.
Despite the more compact design, this Class 4 MOT lift still benefits from Boston’s 630mm wide platforms. When compared to other lifts of similar size this represents a significant increase of 70mm per platform which means it easily accommodates the track width of larger vehicles.
Cleverly designed and positioned built-in play detectors and turning plates also enable testing of longer wheelbase vehicles than possible on other lifts of similar size. For example, the B443-530 can comfortably handle a LWB Mercedes Sprinter.
These features together with greater width between posts, increased range of space between platforms, and greater width across the outside edges of the platforms, ensure safer testing of modern wider vehicles.
A wide range of compatible accessories are available including our unique Any Post Control (APC), LED lighting kits, ruggedised torch control and high-quality jacking beams.
