The ProStore MOT Tool Shadow Board is a simple and effective way of keeping your MOT Tools organised. Using UK manufactured metal clips all the tools are securely stored yet easy to retrieve.
The heavy duty polymer board has been designed to hold all your MOT tools. This includes the 13 pin tow bar socket tester, tyre tread width gauge, windscreen damage template and smaller tools.

Tapley Electronic Decelerometer MTS Connectable – DVSA Approved
he new Tapley Electronic Decelerometer, re-engineered to make it MTS Connectable.
DVSA approved (Tapley EBM ref:EINCBD09863A1019110–) for all classes.
It is portable, lightweight and easy to use and is a must have for most 4×4 vehicles.
The bright LED display clearly shows Service and Hand Brake efficiency.
The results are downloadable to PC using a USB cable and sent directly to the DVSA’s MTS Connected Network.
The Tapley EBM is also approved for Motorcycles, Trikes & Quads (Class I, II & III vehicles), although you will need to purchase the DVSA approved Handle Bar Bracket & Clamp
13/7 PIN Towbar Trailer Socket Tester – DVSA APPROVED for MOT Use
This 13 PIN Towbar Trailer Socket Tester meets the DVSA (MOT) specification for 13 pin Trailer Socket Test Tools and can also be used for testing most 7 pin trailer and tow bar sockets.
Easy to operate, the handheld device gives a clear indication with the respective LED illuminating when the relative towbar operation is detected.
The product has a ”Test” button, allowing the operator to assure all the LED indicators are functioning correctly before any testing is carried out.
Includes 5 meters of shielded cable for ease of use.

Please Note some 7 pin vehicle trailer sockets may not be wired in a uniform way and it is possible that using the adaptor will prevent the socket tester working in the same way as the 13 pin socket.
Testing of 13 PIN Towbar Trailer Electric Sockets has been mandatory from 1st January 2012 for MOT Test Stations (classes: 3, 4, 5 & 7) and the socket tester must be on the DVSA list of approved equipment, (SEE DVSA SPECIAL NOTICE 1-2011).
Brake Pedal Depressor
The Brake Pedal Depressor/Applicator is required for MOT ATLs (one person testing) and is approved for use in MOT Testing by the DVSA
- Manufactured from heavy gauge aluminium tube which is fitted with a rubber handle and foot.
- The associated aluminium locking plate measures 190 x 28 x 6mm.
- Supplied with operation instructions and certificate of conformity.
