The DAD-C1 is a Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI). It is used with the existing Crypton CCP emissions range to deliver engine speed (RPM) into the Diesel MOT emissions test routine quickly and accurately.
The Crypton program for DAD-C1 also features complete EOBD reading capability for EOBD equipped vehicles, generally petrol vehicles from 2001 and diesel vehicles from 2004. This covers the standard EOBD modes and includes current powertrain diagnostic data, DTC read and clear, powertrain freeze frame data and oxygen sensor monitoring test results.
With high demand in workshops after the MOT extension ended, the DAD-C1 is a great solution to make the process as painless as possible to ensure efficiency, accuracy and reliability of results.
