Product description:
- The BM53000 wheel play detector consists of two strong steel plates – one for each wheel – which are installed into the floor. The plates are moved horizontally in 8 different directions by means of a remote control.
- The BM53000 checks the steering and suspension system of the vehicle without need of jacking up the axle. The operator will be able to detect worn kingpin bushings, loose tie-rod ends, broken welds, loose fasteners and other failed components.
- The remote-control unit can be supplied with either cable or radio link to the control system. Selecting radio link has the advantage, that the operator is not restricted in there work and the option avoids expensive downtime due to cable damage.
- The operator can choose to control each movement manually, automatically in selected directions, or to activate a 10 cycle ‘box movement’ sequence.
- The plate movement is 100 mm. Maximum pressure per direction is 30000 N with a working pressure of 180 bar and a test speed of minimum 30 mm/s with both plates moving and 60 mm/s with one plate moving. Optionally the BM53000 can be supplied with speed of 55 / 110 mm/s
- The wheel play detector can be delivered as a mobile unit with ramps or 2 individual installation in-ground subframes mounted in connection with a working pit
Training and Certification Given
